Phillips PLS Replacement UV Lamps
These high quality replacement UV Lamps are the PLS design, this means that the UV replacement lamp has two pins at the end with a plastic connector block used to secure the lamp within the mounting on the UV, exaclty as shown in the image.
Once the UV has been switched on the lamps will gradually degrade in funtion over time, it is therfore recommended to replace the UV lamp every twelve months in order to obtain optimum performance, this anual maintenance is something that is oftern overlooked until an algae bloom appears in the pond, Prevention is better than cure so ensure that your bulbs are replaced sooner than later.
